I joined Bausch + Lomb in 2009 as Key Account Manager - Optometry within the vision care business.
During my time with Bausch + Lomb I have received first rate training via the Bausch + Lomb University. This training has been the source of developing invaluable knowledge, confidence and understanding about our current products and services as well as our innovative pipeline products. I have found the training and development fantastic and on going since starting at B+L. I have received encouragement for my MBA studies and believe the company really does value knowledge acquisition.
I really enjoy working at Bausch + Lomb. My immediate team consists of a group of highly dedicated sales and marketing professionals who are passionate about providing the best visual solutions, information and tools to our customers resulting in improved eye health for consumers everywhere. I also work closely across the business and find all departments to be equally excited about the journey Bausch + Lomb is on.
In my role, I work with a variety of customers from some of the largest optical retailers in the world, to independent Australian chains and optometric buying groups. I have been fortunate to be involved in developing successful go to market strategies for new products encompassing marketing initiatives tailored specifically for these groups.
I enjoy working for Bausch + Lomb not only because of where we are today but also because I can see where we are going in the future and it's looking good to me!
- Sarah Haggerty
Key Account Manager, Optometry

I commenced with Bausch + Lomb in 1998, in an administrative capacity. After the arrival of my first child, I returned to work on a part-time basis, thus allowing me to remain hands-on in the care of my children, but also providing me with the flexibility to continue working. My current position is that of Administrative Assistant, and I work from 9:30am to 2:30pm daily. Task variety is very broad, and in between franking mails and arranging couriers, I may be organising a mail out to Optometrists or Ophthalmologists, collecting RSVP's for industry events or completing various reports for our Sales & Marketing teams.
I enjoy working at Bausch + Lomb because the people are great & it is a very friendly & relaxed work environment. People are always willing to help you.
- Jeanette Biondi
Receptionist, Bausch + Lomb
I commenced with Bausch + Lomb in January 2004, with my main responsibilities being to manage the Warehouse & Distribution function, and to further develop the Logistics function.
Whilst B+L has 3 different divisions (Visioncare, Surgical & Pharmaceuticals), and thousands of products, what is common across all divisions, is the quality of the people. I believe this makes us different from other companies.
Over the many years of being part of B+L, the quality of our employees are what makes our business successful. I am lucky enough to have a dedicated team of staff, many with over 10 years service with B+L, and some go beyond 20 years. This shows me that people enjoy working at B+L. B+L is a company that engages it's staff & values their contribution, and there is variety & flexibility to support development with each person at B+L. There will always be challenges no matter where you work, but B+L has a culture of working together across all business units to fulfill and exceed customers needs.
Bausch + Lomb has a long & well established history in Eye health care with over 150 years in business, and the Australian head office, based in Sydney has a fun, friendly dedicated team that supports our national sales teams.
I can only recommend to everyone, that this is a great place to be!
