The opportunity behind fitting more astigmatic patients the right way
Did you know?
- 43% of lens wearers have astigmatism of 0.75 cyl or more¹
Yet…..
- only a third of these lens wearers are prescribed a toric lens.²
SofLens® daily disposable Toric for Astigmatism has been designed to deliver a more complete visual performance, providing all-day comfort using ComfortMoist™ technology.
With advanced Quick Alignment System design and aspheric optics, this lens gives wearers clear, stable vision achieved through its predictable orientation.
Are your astigmatic patients getting complete vision correction?
Simulated retinal images: for illustrative purposes*

Low astigmats masked with spherical daily disposable lenses may not receive the astigmatic correction they need |

Astigmatic patients may not see crisply and clearly, especially in low light, if fitted with a daily disposable toric lens that does not reduce spherical aberration |

Bausch & Lomb SofLens® daily disposable for Astigmatism lenses offer you the unique opportunity to provide your astigmatic patients with a more complete level of correction |
*These three simulated retinal images (top, centre, lower) represent viewing the tallest building at a distance of 10,000 feet over a 6 mm pupil. Top image represents the effects of -0.75D cylinder, +0.375D spherical error, and +0.15 μm of spherical aberration. Centre image represents the effects of +0.15 μm of spherical aberration (population average: Thibos LN, et al. J Opt Soc Am A. 2002; 19:2329 2348). Lower image represents the retinal image in the absence of any aberrations.
Crisp, Sharp Vision
With our innovative Quick Alignment System™ Toric Design, your astigmats get amazing visual acuity.

3 Results from a clinical comparison of SofLens Toric lenses and SofLens Daily Disposable Toric for Astigmatism. A total of 24 subjects participated in this evaluation. Each lens was evaluated for movement and centration, and lens rotation was evaluated as the absolute value of nasal and temporal orientation in primary gaze. Lens rotational recovery was evaluated by mechanically rotating the lens temporally by 45 degrees and assessing orientation after one minute. There were no statistically significant difference between SofLens Toric and SofLens Daily Disposable Toric for Astigmatism for centration, primary gaze orientation and rotational recovery.
