How to use Viscotears
Wash your hands before applying Viscotears Gel, and make sure to remove contact lenses if you wear them. Contact lenses can be reinserted after an interval of at least 30 minutes. Hold the vial vertically and tilt your head back, then gently pull down your lower eyelid with a finger while looking up. Squeeze the vial to apply one drop, then blink to disperse the gel evenly over your eye. Wipe away any excess, then repeat the process for your other eye if necessary.

Can you use too much Viscotears?
For Viscotears Liquid Gel, it is recommended that adults apply one drop per eye up to three to four times daily—or as often as required depending on the severity of the condition. Viscotears Gel PF can be used daily and applied frequently.

How long does Viscotears eye gel last?
When stored properly (below 25°C), Viscotears has a shelf life of 28 days after opening, and up to 36 months when unopened.
Depending on how much and how regularly you apply Viscotears Gel, the solution may last for several hours before you need to reapply.
Do Viscotears contain preservatives?
